GREEN ISLAND WELCOME
Located on Sandy Point road in North Caicos (approximately 3 miles form ferry marina) is small sinkhole pond, with an impressive unconfirmed depth of almost 300 feet (90m). The pond is home to an array of native birds and plant life. Legion has it that there is a resident mermaid. If you see her you get 3 wishes, but don’t tell anyone…. it’s bad luck
COTTAGE POND
Be BEERY careful!!...... this is your first beer pit stop. Sample Turk’s Head Beers and chat with Island expert Big Josh!
BIG JOSH
East of Whitby settlement this pond is home to a flamboyant flock of flamingos. There is also a local gift shop operated by the Turks & Caicos National Trust. Make sure to buy the local artisan bush tea made on North Caicos by the Caicos Tea Company. Binoculars available for rent. Opens 9:30am to 3pm Mon-Fri.
FLAMINGO POND
Enjoy a local fish, conch or other mouth-watering lunch option at this famous bar and grill. Marvel at the views of Mudjin Beach and Dragon Cay while sipping on a signature cocktail like a Mudjin Rum Punch or a Blue Dragon!
